For Tabea Zimmermann, an essential part of her involvement with music is working with her students.
“The constant dialogue with interested young musicians focuses one’s own view. I take great pleasure in working together, where musical instincts are questioned and brought to a conscious level.” It is also important for her to pass on to her students her own experience with the instrument, scores and chamber music partners. “I pay special attention to the merging of musical and interpretive ideas and their technical execution. In doing so, I aim to convey perfection of expression with a wide-ranging awareness of style.”

For her (new) start at the HfMDK, Tabea Zimmermann wants to create an inspiring and supportive environment for students in which they can develop their artistic potential and grow as musicians.
