Biography:
Gabriele Heinecke studied with Prof. Tabea Zimmermann and Prof. Jürgen Kussmaul. She attended many master classes for solo and chamber music with Eberhard Feltz, Thomas Brandis, Emile Cantor, Emanuel Hurwitz, Walter Levin, Sandor Devich and others. She was an intern and then a temp with the Essen Philharmonic Orchestra, and for several years a temp with the Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne. Her main focus has always been in the educational field. She teaches private students for violin and viola, taught at the University of Osnabrück for many years and has been a lecturer at the Hochschule Osnabrück / Institute for Music for Viola, chamber music, practical seminar and teaching literature for many years. She is also training to become a breathing teacher, as she is working on the subject of „Conscious Breathing in Strings“. Gabriele Heinecke is a member of the Neue Hofkapelle Osnabrück.
