Biography:
Ulla Tremuth was born in 1975 in Offenbach am Main. She began playing violin aged 5 and changed to viola at 11.
At the age of 15 she was accepted as a young student at the „Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst“ in Frankfurt am Main, where she went on to undertake her tertiary studies as well. She graduated from the class of Prof. Tabea Zimmermann in 1999 with exceptional grades. Following this, she studied as a postgraduate as a student of Prof. Hartmut Rohde in Bern.
Ulla Tremuth has been a member of the „Frankfurter Opern-u.Museumsorchester„ since 1999, and has continued to expand her musical horizons, performing with orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Staatskapelle Dresden, Bamberger Symphoniker, etc.
A particular passion of Ulla Tremuth is her work with the Paul Hindemith Orchestra Academy, in which she regularly mentors young musicians as they take their first steps into the orchestral world
